Brandy began her career at Bella Salon and Spa in 2002, at the young age of 15. She was hired as one of Bella’s first Staff Assistants while attending the Cosmetology Program at Washington County Technical High School. Brandy says she was blessed to have had the opportunity to work and learn along side of her favorite beauty mentors. In 2004, she graduated from Tech High, and received her Maryland Cosmetology license. Brandy lives and breathes this industry. She considers each client’s unique qualities and personal lifestyle when providing them with the best look. Brandy believes that educating her guests on products, styling and how to maintain the integrity of their hair is a crucial part of her job. The most rewarding part of her career is seeing a smile on her guest’s face at the end of their visit. Being a member of a Redken Elite Salon has provided her the opportunity to receive education by some of Redken’s greats, including Brent Borreson, Linda Macch, Kris Sorbie and Chris Baran. Brandy’s talent and experience has earned her the position of ‘mentor’ for Bella’s New Talent Stylists.
“Be around the light bringers, the magic makers, the world shifters, the game shakers.
They challenge you, break you open, uplift and expand you. They don’t let you play small with your life. These heartbeats are your people, these people are your tribe.” -Danielle Doby
