About Ruby

Ruby is a Redken Artist with a deep passion for creating a safe, inclusive space where all gender expressions are welcomed and celebrated. She’s best known for her obsession with Lived-In Color, blending technical expertise with an artistic eye to create hair that feels effortless, authentic, and uniquely tailored to each client.

Before stepping behind the chair, Ruby studied Sociology and Psychology at Shepherd University, driven by a fascination with how people think, connect, and express themselves. While she loved understanding people, she realized her true calling was creative. One honest conversation with her sister—who is also a hairstylist—sparked a life-changing pivot. After being asked, “Why can’t you do hair too?” Ruby enrolled that very week at The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School, launching her career in the beauty industry and never looking back.

What truly sets Ruby apart is her passion for empowering others to empower others. As both a stylist and educator, she believes transformation goes far beyond hair—it’s about confidence, self-expression, and feeling seen.

Outside of the salon, Ruby enjoys spending time with her four guinea pigs, playing video games, attending concerts, and diving into fantasy books—because creativity doesn’t clock out at the end of the day.
